Abraham's Family and God

Many people in the world only believe in God the Father, however, the Bible testifies to the existence of God the Mother. We can confirm the existence of God the Mother through the prophecies in the Bible. Abraham’s family history is not just a history of the past but it is a prophecy that clearly shows us who the true God is and who can inherit God’s kingdom. Abraham’s family teaches us about God.

Abraham’s Family & God

Jesus did not say anything without using parables, and He uttered secrets and knowledge about the Kingdom of Heaven through the parables.

Matthew 13:10-11 The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?” He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.

Abraham represents God the Father

Luke 16:19-31 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus…, “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me…, ‘Then I beg you, father.., “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent…,’

Here, Lazarus and the rich man died. When Lazarus died he was carried to Abraham’s side, and the rich man called to Abraham ‘Father’. Then only who can be called ‘Father’ in the spiritual world? It is only God. However, Abraham was called ‘Father’. Then whom does Abraham represent in the Bible? Abraham represents God the Father. This teaches us that not only Abraham, but his family represents the heavenly family. In order to understand the heavenly family we need to look into the records about Abraham’s family, which is a prophecy.

Abraham’s Heir Represents God’s Heir

Abraham was in a dilemma regarding who would become his heir, and God intervened in the selection of Abraham’s heir. In Abraham’s family there were three candidates to inherit Abraham’s estate. The first was Eliezer, the second was Ishmael, and the third was Isaac. It was Isaac who ultimately was recognized as Abraham’s heir and would be given the estate, despite the fact he was not the firstborn. Let us understand why.

Eliezer & Ishmael

Genesis 15:2-4 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.” Then the word of the Lord came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.”

Abraham was advanced in age without any child and wanted to give his estate to Eliezer. However, God said Eliezer would not be Abraham’s heir, but a son coming from his own body would be his heir. Eliezer, who was but a servant could not become Abraham’s heir. The second candidate Ishmael was born some time later by Abraham’s maidservant, Hagar.

Genesis 16:1-16 Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar…; So Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son she had borne. Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore him Ishmael.

When Ishmael was born, Abraham asked God to allow Ishmael to be his heir.

Genesis 17:18-19 And Abraham said to God, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!” Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.

Abraham asked God, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!” God did not allow Ishmael to become his heir. Rather, God said he would establish his covenant with Isaac, born of Sarah, his wife.

Isaac, Abraham’s Heir

Among the three – Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac – Isaac was the one chosen to be Abraham’s heir. Let us understand why. Eliezer’s father was not the free man Abraham, and his mother was not the free woman Sarah. So he could not become the heir. Ishmael was born of the free man Abraham, but his mother was a slave woman, he could not become the heir. Isaac was born of the free man Abraham and of the free woman Sarah, so he could inherit Abraham’s estate.

In those days, the firstborn son was given the birthright and inherited all of his family’s property. Since Ishmael was older he should have been the heir. However, God chose Abraham’s heir according to the maternal line. It is clear that the decisive factor for Abraham’s heir was Sarah.

Sarah Represents God the Mother

The history of Abraham’s family is not only a person’s family history but it is a prophecy about the heir of God. It is because Abraham represents God and Abraham’s heir, represents God’s heir. The decisive factor in choosing the heir is the mother. Isaac was chosen as the heir because his mother was the free woman Sarah. This teaches us how we can become God’s heir; that is possible through Heavenly Mother who is the free woman. This means only those who are born again as the children of the New Covenant can go to the kingdom of heaven. The Bible clearly testifies that we have our Heavenly Mother.

Galatians 4:26-31 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother…, Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.” Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

The Bible clearly testifies that we have our Heavenly Mother, and Her name is Jerusalem. The Bible teaches us that we are children of the free woman. Eliezer could not become the heir as his parents were neither Abraham nor Sarah. Ishmael could not be the heir as his mother was a slave woman not a free woman. Isaac become the heir as his mother was the free woman. This teaches us that God’s heir is determined by the free woman just like Isaac. Hence, the Bible calls us the children of promise like Isaac. It means we can inherit eternal life and go to the kingdom of heaven through God the Mother who is the free woman.

In the world there are people who neither believe in God the Father or God the Mother. These are the people like Eliezer. There are also people who are like Ishmael, they believe in only God the Father. Then finally there are people who believe in God the Father and God the Mother. Who among these types of people will inherit the kingdom of heaven and be God’s heir? As the Bible prophesies, the children of promise like Isaac. This means only those who believe in God the Father and God the Mother will receive eternal life.
