The Root of David and the Church

The Root of David!

There are so many churches in the world at present, yet we only have one Bible. Each church interprets the Bible according to their own way. In this way, how can we tell them which one is the true church? How can I know which interpretation is correct? We need to meet the Root of David, so we can make the correct decision.

Revelation 5:1-5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

We can learn that God, who is seated on the Throne, is holding the Bible- the only book given for our salvation. Unfortunately, the Bible is sealed, and nobody is found worthy to unseal it and reveal its mysteries. In this dire situation, only One is found worthy, the Root of David!

Seek David in the last days!

We must seek the Root of David in the last days to be saved.

Hosea 3:5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.

The prophecy of Hosea teaches us that we must meet the Root of David in the last days to be saved. Will you be saved if you fail to meet David? No! Who is the root of David then?

Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

Who is the root of David? Yes, it is Jesus. It however does not refer to the first coming Christ, but it refers to the second coming Christ. This is because the first coming Christ had already ascended to Heaven when the book of Revelation was written, this is referring to the time He comes a second time.

Who is He?

Many false Christs will appear in the last days. Then, how can I know for sure that the One I meet is the true Christ, David? God allows Him a special sign, to help us recognize the Second Coming Christ.

Isaiah 55:3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

God testified that He would establish an eternal covenant for the salvation of mankind, and it is only promised to David. The everlasting covenant is the sign we can recognize David with. What is this covenant then?

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep…

The eternal covenant is established through the blood of Jesus. Among all the covenants, which one was established with Jesus’ blood?

Luke 22:20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood…”

The eternal covenant is the Passover of the New Covenant. Whoever brings the truth of the Passover of the New Covenant in the last days, it is the Root of David whom we must meet to be saved. After Jesus ascended, the Passover was abolished through Satan’s cunning trick at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325. Christ Ahnsahnghong brought back this truth after nearly 1,600 years, in accordance with the Bible prophecies.

The Root of David and the World Mission Society Church of God.

From what we read in the Revelation, only who can interpret the Bible correctly? Only the Root of David. All other interpretations of the Bible, that are not given by the Root of David are wrong and cannot lead you to Heaven.

2 Peter 3:16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

The Root of David, whom we must meet in these last days is Christ Ahnsahnghong. Only He taught the sole truth that takes sinners to Heaven. Believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong and be saved! He established the World Mission Society Church of God, this is the church you must be found in, as this is where the truth leading to Heaven is. Come to the World Mission Society Church of God to seek and find the Root of David and be saved!
