The Forgiveness of Sins and Your Fate
April 18, 2023
The Bible teaches us that all mankind are sinners. How can we receive forgiveness of sins? The answer is very simple, let us discover the mystery of God’s wonderful administration of granting forgiveness of sins.
Where we are from and the forgiveness of sins?
Genesis 2: 7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Human beings are made up of two components, dust and the breath of life. The dust is the body and the breath of life is the soul. When the two separate what is left behind (dust) is referred to as the corpse. Each component returns to where it came from.
Ecclesiastes 12: 7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
What does it mean to return? It means to go back to a former place. It is natural that the body returns to the ground as it comes from the ground. The soul however returns to God. Where does God dwell? God dwells in Heaven. Do you know what the spiritual beings who live with God in Heaven are called? They are called angels! Yes, you existed as an angel before coming to the earth. Angels, the holy beings, why are we called sinners that need the forgiveness of sins?
Sin, Angels and the Earth – relationship between sin and the forgiveness of sins.
The Angel Solomon
The Bible enlightens us to the fact that we pre-existed before the earth. Through the example of Solomon, we can understand this fact.
Proverbs 8: 22-30 “The Lord brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old; I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be. When there were no watery depths… I was given birth, before he made the world or its fields or any of the dust of the earth. I was there when he set the heavens in place… I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence,
When did Solomon say he was born? He says he was born before the earth was formed. If the dust of the earth was not yet made, then could he have existed in bodily form? The human body is made from the dust of the earth. In what form was Solomon? We cannot say he was in human form. He existed as a spiritual being. At whose side was Solomon? It was God’s side. Solomon was an angel in Heaven before coming to the earth. Why did God allow this scripture to be recorded in the Bible? God our Teacher wanted to enlighten us on the fact that all mankind existed as angels before the earth came to be. Solomon was just a man like us. All humans are angels from Heaven, who are temporarily residing on the earth.
Seeking, calling and the forgiveness of sins.
Why did we leave such a wonderful place and come to earth which is full of pain? Through Jesus’ teachings, we can understand.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Matthew 9: 13 … For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
To seek and to call are the same thing. If somebody is calling your phone, it means they are seeking you. Jesus said he came to call sinners lost from Heaven. We are lost from Heaven because of sin. The earth is a spiritual prison for angels who sinned (Revelations 12: 7-9). This is why there is more pain on earth than joy. Prison is a place where criminals must think about their sin and repent of it. It is the time to seek the forgiveness of sins.
What sin did I commit?
Mankind are not really sure of what their sin is. Just how serious is the crime we committed in Heaven?
Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death…
Is one worthy of a death penalty if they break a traffic law? No. Which crime is worthy of a death sentence? It is murder. Yes, we are not different from murderers on earth. The sin we committed is so scary that we can only pay for it through our death. According to the gravity of the sin, it determines how long we are to live on earth before being punished eternally in hell. It is thus urgent to receive the forgiveness of sins, before our time expires on earth!
How to receive the forgiveness of sins
Sin is what separated us from Heaven. If that sin is removed, is there any reason for us not to return? The sins must be forgiven. Then, how can I receive forgiveness of sins to return?
Ephesians 1: 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
The Bible teaches us that it is only through the blood of Christ that we can receive forgiveness of sins. How can I receive the blood of Christ?
Matthew 26: 26-28 While they were eating… Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
This is the scene where Jesus kept the Passover with His disciples. What did Jesus call the Passover Wine? He called it His blood. Through the Passover of the New Covenant, we can receive the forgiveness of sins as it contains the blood of Christ!
Christ Ahnsahnghong
The only one that has authority to grant the forgiveness of sins is God (Matthew 9:1-6). Jesus gives us the forgiveness of sins through the Passover, thus He is God!
This precious truth was however abolished by Satan in AD 325 (Daniel 7: 25). For a long time of almost 1,600 years, mankind have been unable to escape their dark fate and unable to receive the forgiveness of sins in that situation. This is why the Bible prophesied that Jesus will come a second time.
Hebrews 9: 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
According to the prophecies, Christ has appeared again and brought the truth of the Passover of the New covenant which had been lost. He is Christ Ahnsahnghong! He is God, only God can grant the forgiveness of sins through the Passover.
The Church of God, which was established by Christ Ahnsahnghong is the only church throughout the world that keeps the truth of the Passover of the New Covenant. Come and keep the Passover with us and receive the forgiveness of sins!
